Vanilla Cashew Butter

July 17, 2018 by Jasmin Foster

Easy 3 ingredient Vanilla Cashew Butter is creamy, full of flavor,  free of added sugars, oil, and other preservatives. To make this recipe a food processor is recommended. A high powered blender will also do but it’s more difficult to remove the cashew butter once finished.

To start, roast cashews in oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until cashews become fragrant and slightly brown. Remove from oven and allow cashews to cool (about 10 more minutes). Add cashews to blender/processor and blend for 12-17 minutes or until cashews reach desired consistency.

Let me just say that you must be patient when making nut butters. The consistency will go through several changes before reaching the final stage.Once done add a dash of salt and blend for a few seconds. Feel free to add additional ingredients like 1tsp coconut oil, cinnamon, brown sugar. To add to texture replace vanilla extract with vanilla paste. Store the cashew butter in air tight container.
