Summer is finally here and the heat has been on full force lately. Cool down with a Lemon Raspberry Chia Smoothie.
It’s been several months since my last blog post. What have I been doing with my life?! A lot has changed and soon I’ll share my life updates. In the mean time let’s get back to the goodness.
This Lemon Raspberry Chia Smoothie is the perfect solution on a hot day or a quick nutritious breakfast on the go. It’s main ingredient, raspberries, a well known functional food is full of antioxidants (chia seeds as well) and a low glycemic index for blood glucose levels.
To make Lemon Raspberry Chia Smoothie simply combine raspberries, banana, chia seeds, lemon juice, lemon zest and a natural sweetener like honey (maple syrup for vegan option). Blend in blender until smooth. For a more tart smoothie withhold the natural sweetener.
