How To Make Chocolate Chip Blended Baked Oats

You will need a blender to make these baked oats. The great thing is you don’t need a high-powered blender either but my Blendtec has been able to blend just about anything without difficulty. That’s hard to come by sometimes with blenders. What I like the most is that the blade is not sharp so I never have to deal with accidentally cutting myself when washing, I’ve had this thing for years, and still mixes wonderfully.
For this recipe, I used a larger-sized ramekin (10 oz). The final result yields only 1 serving but you can easily double this recipe to make 2.
Ingredients
oatmeal- I used rolled oats that are blended into flour liketo make soft cake like oatmeal bake.
milk- provides moisture to make baked oatmeal mixture
egg- binds the ingredients together
ripe banana- helps with a smooth and soft texture and helps to naturally sweeten
baking powder- helps blended oats rise when cooking
vanilla extract- for a flavor that’s essential with baking
maple syrup- to naturally sweeten the oatmeal
chocolate chips- for more sweetness and texture with chocolate chip chunks
pinch of salt- to balance all of the flavors
Instructions
Prep: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray ramekin with cooking spray and set aside.
Blend: Place all ingredients except for the chocolate chips in a blender. Blend until well combined (about 30 seconds).
Assemble: Pour the blended oatmeal batter into the ramekin. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
Bake: Cook in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Serve immediately.
Tips for the Best Chocolate Chip Blended Baked Oatmeal
Make ahead of time by blending everything together. Store in the fridge the night before and take out the next day to bake.
Double or tripple the recipe to make more servings.
Get creative and add other mix ins.
