Making The best Homemade Buffalo Sauce
You only need a few ingredients to make homemade buffalo sauce. For this recipe, I used Frank’s Red Hot Sauce. I like to use Frank’s because of its consistency. It’s thick and has great flavor. Just mix hot sauce with melted butter and a few spices to season in a small saucepan and you’re ready to go!
How To Make Buffalo Chicken tacos
Prep: Take the rotisserie chicken and shred into small pieces (remove the skin) and set aside. Cut tomatoes and chop lettuce.
Make Sauce: Heat a small saucepan over low to medium heat and add butter. When the butter melts add hot sauce and the remaining buffalo sauce ingredients. Stir well. Once fully mixed turn off the heat and set it aside.
Mix: In a large bowl add shredded chicken. Pour buffalo sauce mix onto chicken. Use tongs to toss chicken and coat evenly with sauce.
Layer: Place a small tortilla and top with shredded chicken, chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. Cut and slice avocado and add to tacos.

- 8 flour tortillas
- 2 avocados , pitted and sliced
