dijon mustard

olive oil

white wine vinegar

Peach Jam Vinaigrette Recipe by Mash and Spread

Feel free to substitute peach jam with any jam you may have available. The end result is still the same…delicious goodness you get to enjoy for a little while longer.

Last week I visited my local farmers market. Peaches are on the stands everywhere and one particular vendor had a display of different jams for sale. My eye quickly gravitated towards the peach. I thought buying the small jar was the best since I don’t usually purchase a lot of jars of jams. It’s safe to say I was completely wrong. Breakfast this past week has been filled with toast and jam with more toast and jam. How I did I get to this point? Seriously.

This Peach Jam Vinaigrette is a smooth yet flavorful dressing perfect for salads. What makes it so creamy is the dijon mustard. I’m not even the biggest mustard fan but when you add a dash to oil something really magical happens. You get this creamy texture and the flavor possibilities suddenly become infinite.

Peach Jam Vinaigrette

Cook Time 2 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon peach jam
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon white wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a small jar or bowl. Combine jam, dijon mustard, olive oil, and white wine vinegar.

  2. Close jar with lid and shake jar until well incorporated or stir with whisk to mix.
