Flying doesn’t mean settling for any kind of meal when traveling. Reagan National Airport has options to stay on track with your way of eating.
Ever find yourself thinking about what to eat when traveling. Should I eat before? Do I have time to eat at the airport if I arrive early? We have all been there before! It’s a common nuance. Luckily when traveling through Reagan National Airport there are options that offer a variety of meals that can accommodate your diet.
Reagan National Airport is featuring a Meatless Monday Guide to help you find meatless meals located all throughout DCA. I have partnered with the concessions manager of food and retail, Marketplace Development, to bring you this amazing guide of food vendors for you to fill up for your next flight to or through the nations capitol.
Are you hungry? Let’s get started.
Out of all the options, the first and by far most favorite is the falafel bowl from CAVA. This bowl is perfect when on the go. I love that I can be in and out and to my destination in no time with their fast casual set up. Falafel, one of my go-to’s for a meatless alternative taste so good in a salad, bowl, or just by itself.
My next favorite would have to be &Pizza. It’s truly the pizza place you can have it your way with all the veggie burger options. It’s also important to note that &Pizza has vegan sauces and gluten free pizza crust available. Here’s a veggie packed (with arugula and mushrooms), vegan mozzarella pizza perfect for you and a traveling buddy.
What surprised me the most are the vegan options with the Impossible Burger (including ground meat) and the Beyond Burger. You can enjoy the Impossible Burger at Grille District or the Beyond Burger at Star Brewery Hill.
