These Chicken Lettuce Wraps are the perfect fresh and light lunch + dinner option made with ground chicken and an assortment of sauces for a flavorful meal.

Reason To Love These Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Low-carb meal: made with fresh butter lettuce and packed with protein in an asian style sauce

What You’ll Need:

Protein: Ground chicken

Greens: I used butter lettuce to make the perfect wraps that you can hold up being filled

Other: sesame oil, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, sriracha

How to Make Chicken Lettuce Wraps:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook for 3-5 minutes, breaking it up into smaller pieces, until browned.

Add onion, garlic, and ginger and mix.

Next add sesame oil, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice wine vinegar, and sriracha and mix. Continue to cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add water chestnuts, and green onion and mix to evenly combine.

Scoop chicken mix into lettuce and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 8oz can water chestnuts, diced
  • ½ cup green onion diced
  • 1 head butter lettuce

Instructions
