Ingredients

Air Fryer French Fries

  • 2 medium russet potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Cayenne pepper optional

Chipoltle Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 teaspoons adobo sauce in a can of chipotle peppers
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Air Fryer French Fries

  1. Pre-heat the air fryer to 380 °F. Rinse/brush potatoes in cold water and pat dry. Use a potato slicer or sharp knife to cut small to medium-sized French fries. Place cut potatoes into a large bowl.

  2. Pour cold water into the bowl until potatoes are submerged in water. Allow potatoes to soak in water for 10 minutes to remove starch. Remove potatoes from water and pat dry to remove excess water

  3. Drizzle olive oil on top of the potatoes and season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (optional). toss to evenly coat. Transfer potatoes to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12-15 minutes (stirring halfway) or until French fries are crispy/golden brown.

  4. Cook French fries in batches until complete. Keep warm in the oven at 200° F until ready to eat or reheat in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes.

Chipotle Sauce

  1. Add all the ingredients to a medium-sized bowl. Stir to combine. Adjust sauce and add adobe per taste.
