Are you constantly ordering cold foam with your favorite drinks? I know it’s hard to resist. It’s like the icing on the cake or a little reward. Enjoy all the drinks you want at home with this recipe. Making this at home is pretty easy with one simple tool and a few ingredients.
Pumpkin Cold Foam Ingredients
Heavy whipping cream: for a vegan alternative use canned coconut milk
Milk: I used 1% milk but any milk will do.
Pumpkin puree: Use canned pumpkin puree. You will only need a small amount so be sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate.
Brown sugar: I used dark brown sugar
Pumpkin pie spice: A secret little addition that’s truly a favorite
Vanilla: a hint of vanilla always brings everything together
Tools You Will Need
Whenever possible I love to mention vegan alternatives. You can substitute the heavy whipping cream for coconut milk. The milk can also be swapped out with a dairy-free alternative.
Also, you can substitute vanilla extract for vanilla syrup.
How To Make Pumpkin Cold Foam
Gather: Gather all of the ingredients together.
Add: Add heavy whipping cream, milk, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, pumpkin, spice, and vanilla in a small bowl. I used the cute glass jars that come with sealable lids
Froth away: Use a frother (I use this one) to whisk together. It should only take up to a minute. For a thicker foam use the frother on the later end up to 1 minute.
Top it off: Prepare your drink as usual. Pictured below is one of my favorite iced drinks, an iced chai latte. I use this ice chai concentrate to make them at home. Top off your drink with pumpkin cold foam and enjoy!
Can I Make This in Advance?
Cold foam is best enjoyed in the moment so it’s not recommended to be made in advance. Luckily it only takes a few minutes to make.
Pumpkin Cold Foam
The easiest recipe for a delicious Pumpkin Cold Foam is perfect for all of your fall-inspired drinks!
- 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoon milk
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin purée
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- ½ teaspoon vanilla or 1 pump vanilla syrup
Add whipping cream, milk, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla to a small bowl. Use a frother to whisk together (no more than one minute) or until desired consistency. Add on top of drinks like iced chai latte to enjoy.
