A delicious mango lassi in popsicle form. These popsicles are creamy, colorful, and hard to resist!
Summer 2020 is finally here! Why not celebrate with a batch of the pops!
The first time I made popsicles at home believe it or not was a few years ago (back in 2017). I participated in Popsicle Week and made these Mint Pineapple Cream Popsicles. They were so delicious. I went and purchases these amazing popsicle molds to make them look nice and searched all over the city what felt like forever for the right sized popsicle sticks (because I lost the ones that cam with the molds). Who knew there were so many varieties.
I’ve been slacking on my popsicle game ever since.
These Mango Lassi Popsicles are so simple to make with only 5 ingredients
Mango: Fresh or frozen
Yogurt: (also known as Dahi – can use Whole fat/ Greek yogurt. I used plain whole fat greek yogurt
Milk
Honey: Sweeten it up with a few tablespoons of honey.
Spices: a dash of cardamom goes a long way. Take it from me. My first batch I added too much cardamom. While the pops still came out delicious the cardamom flavor completely took over.
Mango Lassi Popsicle Alternatives:
This recipe can easily be made vegan. Use dairy free yogurt to make it creamy and agave or simple syrup in place of honey to sweeten things up. Although I haven’t tested this vegan alternative. You should be able to create a pretty good vegan popsicle with these simple swaps!
