These delicious Homemade Waffles are light and fluffy and are the perfect go-to waffle recipe.

A simple recipe is all you need to enjoy waffles for breakfast. these Homemade Waffles require less tan 10 ingredients and can be ready in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients

all-purpose flour

baking powder

brown sugar

cinnamon

salt

milk

eggs

butter

pure vanilla extract

How To Make The Best Homemade Waffles

  1. Whisk flour, baking powder, sugar in a lage bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl add wet ingredients (milk, egg yolk, melted butter). Leave out the egg whites
  3. Add egg whites to anothe bowl and use a mixer to beat until stiff peaks form.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into a bowl of dry ingredients.
  5. Stir in ⅓ cup of stiff peak whipped egg whites to the waffle batter and slighly mix. Gently fold in the remaining egg whites and. Let waffle mix sit for a few minutes.
  6. Heat waffle maker. Pour batter and cook waffle according to instructions.

Tips

Don’t have a mixer? You can completely bypass whipping the egg whites. Instead, just add the whole egg to milk and melted butter and proceed from there.

Lumpy waffle batter is ok. When whisking everything together make sure to avoid overmixing.

Store waffles in an airtight container for a few days in the fridge. To make these Homemade Waffles last longer. Flash freeze waffles. to flash freeze, lay waffles on a single layer onto a large baking sheet. After an hour so when waffles have started to freeze remove from freeze and place waffles in a zip locked bag (removing as much air as possible) or air tight container. Return to the freezer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¾ cups milk
  • 2 eggs separated
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Whisk dry ingredients in a large bowl (flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, and salt). In another bowl add wet ingredients (milk, egg yolk, melted butter). Leave out the egg whites
