I love a good smoothie. One that has simple ingredients and full of flavor. The last few days has reminded me that summer is slowly ending. Nights in DC are a tad cooler than before but I don’t care. I’m holding on to summer with this Chia Tropical Smoothie. We still have a little less than a month left. Let me drink in peace!
On social media, I talked about how I have been posting green in my last few photos without really realizing. I thought maybe I should run with it and do a color theme. Often I see other niche bloggers (fashion/lifestyle) do this so why not with food? This Chia Tropical Smoothie pairs so well with this green placemat I bought ages ago. Maybe I’m on to something.
Chia Tropical Smoothie
There’s nothing to but to cut it all up, add it to the blender, and mix until smooth! Pour it into you favorite cup (or mason jar) and drink up! The prep takes longer than the actual time it takes to blend. Feel free to use frozen fruit for convenience. There’s only 6 ingredients…
papaya
pineapple
mango
banana
fresh orange juice
chia seeds
The possibilities with ingredients is longer but for simplicity (that’s what I like) I made this Chia Tropical Smoothie with only 6 items!
