Rich and chocolatey Homemade Chocolate Granola is a great addition to yogurt or with milk as a breakfast cereal.

Ingredients
  • ½ cup coconut oil melted
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • ¾ cup chocolate chunks
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl stir together melted coconut oil, maple syrup, cocoa, and vanilla extract. Fold in rolled oats, almonds, and chocolate chunks.

  2. Transfer the mixture onto a baking sheet in an even layer. Bake in the oven for 17-20 minutes (string to re-arrange granola halfway through cooking time).

  3. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Break apart granola into small chunks and serve.
