A very thick chocoaltely bowl of chocolate oatmeal made with chia seeds and topped with fresh strawberries for breakfast.
In a saucepan heat milk and oatmeal over medium heat. Stir to evenly combine. Add chia seeds, pinch of salt, cacao powder, vanilla extract, and sweetener (maple syrup or light brown sugar) to pan. Continue to stir until well mixed. Cook on stove top for 5 minutes or until liquid starts to evaporate and oatmeal starts to thicken. Adjust sweetness with maple syrup or light brown sugar to taste. Remove from oven and serve in your favorite bowl. Top with strawberry slices and extra chia seeds.
