Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 small white onion diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 8oz can water chestnuts, diced
  • ½ cup green onion diced
  • 1 head butter lettuce
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook for 3-5 minutes, breaking it up into smaller pieces, until browned.
  2. Add onion, garlic, ginger and mix together.
  3. Next add sesame oil, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice wine vinegar, and sriracha and mix together. Continue to cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add water chestnuts, and green onion and mix to evenly combine.
  5. Scoop chicken mix into lettuce.
