Ingredients
Mini Chocolate Waffles
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ¾ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup butter melted
Powdered Sugar Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon melted butter
  • 4 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl mix all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar,baking powder, and salt.

  2. In a smaller bowl mix eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and butter.

  3. Form a well in the middle of the flour mix. Pour wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients (flour mix).

  4. Whisk all together until just combined.

  5. Heat waffle griddle. Cook waffles according to instructions.

Powdered Sugar Glaze
  1. Combine powdered sugar, butter, milk, vanilla extract in a bowl. Mix until smooth. Add milk to adjust consistency.

Recipe Notes

Use room temperature milk and eggs to prevent melted butter from curdling when mixing waffles batter.
