Classic Brioche French Toast

Thick luscious slices of Classic Brioche French Toast is a simple and easy breakfast or brunch recipe.

Ingredients
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • butter
  • strawberries stem removed
  • blueberries
Instructions
  1. Cut brioche bread into 8 slices and set aside. In a medium-sized bowl whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and ground cinnamon until well smooth. Transfer mixture to a shallow container.  

  2. Place slices of brioche bread into the shallow container with French toast mix. Allow to sit for 2 minutes and flip. Continue to let sit for 2 minutes. Remove bread from the mixture. 

  3. Preheat a large cooking pan/skillet over medium o medium-low heat.  Add butter to coat the bottom of the pan. Gently transfer brioche bread to a heated pan in a single even layer. Cook for 3 minutes or until french toast turns golden brown. Flip the bread over and continue to cook for another 3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan.

  4. Repeat steps of soaking bread in French toast mix as needed and work in batches. Once finished add your favorite toppings like fresh berries and drizzle syrup.
